- Low nuclear to cytoplasmic ratio (more cytoplasm than nucleus)
- Nucleus is mature and has >5 lobes connected by thin chromatin filaments
- Nucleoli are absent
- More cytoplasm with only secondary granules
- Secondary (specific) granules are neutrophilic (lilac)
