About Us
Hematology outlines is an online Hematology Atlas and Glossary that is the result of the collaboration of multiple institutions. The Atlas and Glossary are now officially a part of the Hematology course in multiple medical schools and clinical laboratory scientist training programs. It is also an ASCP recommended resource for Hematology certification. The online site and the iPhone and iPad Apps have been consistently in the top of the online Hematology atlases and Apps.
Hematology is the study of blood, blood-forming (hematopoietic) organs, and neoplastic/non-neoplastic blood disorders. It involves multiple disciplines, including pathology, physiology, internal medicine, pediatrics, molecular diagnostics, and laboratory medicine.

The site is edited by Hooman H. Rashidi, MD, MS, FCAP (Senior Editor) and John C. Nguyen, MD with contributions from pathologists and hematologists at many institutions. See the full list of contributing authors.
