CD

Stands for "Cluster of Differentiation" which are usually cell surface glycoproteins expressed by normal and abnormal cells and used primarily in diagnostic hematology as part of the workup of hematologic malignancies by either flow cytometry or immunohistochemistry (e.g. co-expression of CD5 and CD23 by the neoplastic cells in CLL).
