A type of CD which is normally expressed in immature thymic T-cells (e.g. cortical thymocytes) and dendritic cells.Recall the Mnemonic for CDs. Also remember that since this is the lowest numbered CD, then it is typically only expressed in immature T-cells (cortical thymocytes) and not present in more mature T-cells. Recall the CD_Mnemonic.
