Heinz bodies

Abnormal preciitated hemoglobins usually due to oxidative damage. These may be seen in conditions that predispose patient's hemoglobin to oxidative damage (e.g. G6PD deficiency). Remember "HEinz" start with HE which stands for HEmoglobin (as opposed to Howell Jolly Bodies which are DNA remnants).
