Cryoglobulinemia

Phenomenon of blood proteins (predominantly immunoglobulins) that precipitate out of the blood and adhere together. They can often be identified on a peripheral blood smear and can be associated with numerous disease processes, including, but not limited to, infectious etiologies, such as hepatitis, autoimmune/connective tissue disorders, and hematopoietic disorders.
