Hypogammaglobulinemia

A disorder of reduced serum immunoglobulins caused by any number of etiologies, including primary immunodeficiency syndromes, hematopoietic malignancies, and certain medications. It can also be a cause of a typing discrepancy (i.e., when the forward and reverse ABO types do not match.
