Alder-Reilly Anomaly
Evenly distributed violet purple granules without Dohle bodies or vacuoles in the cytoplasm of all neutrophils. Looks like toxic granules but unlike toxic granules, the findings are present in all the neutrophils and can also be seen in monocytes and lymphocytes. Please note that the granulocytes appear to be functionally normal. Hence, it's called an anomaly and not a disease.
