Osteoblasts

Resident cells in the bone that are responsible for bone formation. May sometimes resemble plasma cells (as opposed to plasma cells which have a perinuclear cytoplasmic clearing, the cytoplasmic clearing in osteoblasts is away from the nucleus and more in the center of the cytoplasm).
