Osteoclasts

Multinucleated resident cells in the bone that are responsible for bone resorption. May sometimes resemble other multinucleated cells in the bone marrow such as megakaryocytes (The nuclei of megakaryocytes are connected to each other while the nuclei of osteoclasts appear round and disconnected from one another)
