Complete blood count

Also known as CBC which includes a count (per volume unit) of the white blood cells, hemoglobin, hematocrit and platelets. When a differential count is added to the CBC, the different types of WBCs are quantitated (e.g. percent neutrophils, lymphocytes, monocytes, eosinophils and basophils).
