E/e antigens

A member of the Rh antigen system, E/e are part of a closely linked set of alleles, which includes D/d and C/c, and are typically inherited as a set. As part of the Rh system, E/e antigens are associated with hemolytic disease of the fetus and newborn (HDFN) and hemolytic transfusion reactions (HTRs).
