EBV

Epstein Barr Virus. A virus associated with infectious mononucleosis (a disease more common in younger patients that presents with lymphadenopathy and in severe cases with organomagly such as hepatomegaly and/or Splenomegaly). EBV may also be associated with certain lymphoproliferative disorders such as Post Transplant lymohoproliferative disorders (PTLD), Angioimmunoblastic T-cell lymphoma and Hodgkin lymphoma.
