Infectious mononucleosis

A disease that is usually due to Epstein Barr Virus (EBV). More common in younger patients and may present with lymphadenopathy and in severe cases with organomegaly (hepatomegaly and/or splenomegaly). The lymphadenopathy may sometimes mimic a lymphoma.
