Splenomegaly
Splenomegaly is an enlargement of the spleen. Common causes of splenomegaly include infectious mononucleosis, end stage liver disease, certain hemoglobinopathies (e.g. HbSC disease), certain hematological malignancies (Many Myeloproliferitive Neoplasms, some lymphomas/leukemias such as Splenic Marginal Zone Lymphoma and Hairy cell leukemia), infiltration by cancer, and certain metabolic diseases.
